Our organic raw cacao butter (unrefined) is made from Peruvian cacao procured from farmers of the Yanesha Communities, found in the region of Pasco in Central Amazon. This is the first raw organic cacao butter introduced in India from Peru! The cacao is developed under a Nature Consortium agroforestry system, preparing the fields with organic material, putting seeds of other fruits such as banana, papaya along with cacao.
This pure raw organic cacao butter is made under low-temperature conditions and is unrefined.

How is Raw Cacao Butter made?
Once the cacao beans are collected, they are washed and dried with sun exposure. Then, the cacao paste is pressed and centrifuged to obtain cacao butter.

Unrefined vs Refined Cacao Butter
Non-deodorised or unrefined raw cacao butter is made under low-temperature conditions and is naturally higher in antioxidants and moisturising properties than refined cacao butter. Unrefined cacao butter contains a beautiful gentle chocolate aroma whereas refined cacao butter does not have an aroma. For both edible and external application purposes, unrefined raw cacao butter is a better option!
